Today I left the Grande Centre Point Hotel, on Mahatlek Luang Soi 1, at about 11 am. Outside I saw the same taxi driver that yesterday try to charge me 400 Baht to take a 50 Baht ride. He smiled to me and asked me to ride with him, he said “meter, meter”. I smiled back to him and said thank you but today I would like to walk. Off course I got in another taxi as soon as I was out on Ratchadamri road.

Tonight I will go out to eat dinner with the guy from Denmark. He asked me to choose the restaurant and I think I want to go to Baan Klang Nam. I like that restaurant because I think it’s very nice and they have good Thai food, a good view of the river and it’s not so expensive.

Yesterday I talked to one of my friends about studying English. My friends name is Ae. Ae is studying English right now which is why I talked to her, I thought maybe she could give me some advice. Ae has a Farang teacher that comes to meet her in different places. They usually meet in cafés or other places like that. I asked her how much she had to pay and she said 700 Baht per hour and every day she studies two hours so that’s 1400 Baht every day. I think that is a little bit too expensive for me. My friend has been studying with this teacher for more than 5 months now and she still does not speak good English. For that price I think it’s better to go to one of the bigger language schools in Bangkok. There you can study a lot more hours for the same price.

My friend Cherry speaks good English and she is trying to teach me, but she is not a very good teacher. She knows how to say things but she can not explain why when I ask. Same with Robert, he’s not very good at explaining things about the English language. And he is also busy with his work and helping me about the blog. I don’t want to take more of his time. I will have to try to find a good school and maybe someone can give me a good suggestion of one, not too expensive, here in Bangkok. I don’t want you to think I am cheap but I feel like I have to try to save as much of my money as I can because I work hard for it. I can speak English but I don’t know about the different forms of verbs and things like that.

A friend of mine told me about the Wall Street Institute and I looked on the Internet for information about it. It looks good and very free. You can study when you have time and they have different levels that you have to pass and they give you a lot of time to do it. But it feels a bit expensive because you have to pay everything before you start and you sign up for a long time. I will have to think more about this but I have to start before Robert and Cherry goes to Sweden, so I can take care of this blog myself.

Last night I and the Danish guy had planed to go to dinner at Baan Klang Nam but we had to change the plan because we had to go out with some other people, and they wanted to eat Italian food. We went to the Basilico Italian restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 33 instead. I had to leave it up to him because he is leaving for Denmark tonight and I can eat Thai food anytime I want. He says he will miss me and I told him I will miss him too. I told him I want to go to English school and he said it was a great idea. I wanted to ask him to help me with half of the money but I decided not to. He has a family to take care of and he has been generous to me already. I told him about my blog and I hope he will read it. Then he will know what I wanted to ask him anyway. ;-P

Good afternoon! Today I am very tired. Last night I had two friends, Yaa and Nit, sleep over in my room, we went out to party together. We went to Q-Bar, there was a lot of girls there last night but not so many guys. Yaa met a guy that she knew from before and they went short time. I and Nit met another guy in there that we partied together with. We were talking about where to go after Q-Bar and he wanted to go to Spicy because he had been there before.

After 2 am we went to Spicy together with the guy. He is a nice guy and he payed for everything. About 3.30 am Yaa who had left us in Q-Bar came back to party with us again. There was a lot of people in Spicy and we had a lot of fun. Everybody was drunk and I thought it was better that we went back home to my room. We left around 5 am and took a taxi back to my place. We first put the guy in a taxi, because he was so drunk, and told the driver to take him to his hotel, the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit and then we went home. Nit gave the guy her phone number and he said that he was going to call her today and maybe they could meet tonight.

Spicy, Boss club, Lucky VII, Spice and Tunnel are all nightclubs that are open late. Some of them are open until 5 am and some until 8 or 9 am. All of these places have a lot of girls that come there to work. There are girls, guys and katoeys (lady-boys). You have to be careful about Thai katoeys because many are very beautiful and look just like girls. Some guys can’t tell the difference and when they are in the bar they think they are with a girl but when they get back home they get a surprise. ;D Spicy usually have a lot of people every night, more than the other places. I don’t understand why because after the fire on New Years Eve at the Santika nightclub, where a lot of people died, I am scared to go to places that have a lot of people and where I feel that I can not get out quickly if something should happen. I don’t know how many exits they have there, maybe enough, but I feel like there is too many people anyway and I don’t like that. I like Tunnel and Lucky VII better because I feel safer there.

Narcissus, on Sukhumvit 23, is the place I like best of the places that are open late (they close at 5 am). I don’t know if there are any working girls there because there is a lot of Thai people but I like to go there to just party with my friends. Fridays and Saturdays they have coyote dancers in there also and I really like the music because it is good to dance to.

I was thinking about this guy I met in Spasso before. This guy is a VIP there and has a very big room in the Grand Hyatt hotel where he stays when he is in Bangkok. Sometimes for very long periods of time. I went with this guy once and he said to me that “I want to have a good girlfriend”. That time I thought maybe he meant that if I was a good girl he would like me to be his girlfriend. When I went with him I was new to this kind of work and maybe I took him to seriously. He was talking about all the things he owns and he showed me a picture of his beautiful house in Australia and he told me that one day he would take me there. All his talk made me very excited and I felt very happy to have met him. I spent the night in his room and went home in the morning. He didn’t pay to be with me but he gave me 4000 Baht and told me that it was for the taxi. (?) He asked me for my number and told me that he would call me so maybe we could go out and have dinner together sometime. That night I did not go out but waited for him to call me but he never did. The day after that I went to CM2 in Novotel because I did not want to run into him. I did not want him to think that I was going out every night because he had told me that he wanted a good girl as his girlfriend. The next time I met him in Spasso, about one week later, it was like we had never met before. He saw me but didn’t say hello or come talk to me and I thought that if he did not want to talk to me it was better that I did not approach him.

After that time I saw him go with many different girls, never with the same one. Off course I knew a few of them and I asked them about him. They told me that he had told them exactly the same things that he had told me. We could not understand why he talked like this. He made us all feel very special and gave us false hope about the future but then he made us all very disappointed. Why? Maybe he wants a good girl as his girlfriend but if so why doesn’t he take the time to get to know us? If he doesn’t want a working girl as his girlfriend why does he come to the bar to see us and talk like this? Some of the girls who work like this dream about meeting a boyfriend that will take care of them so they don’t have to work like this any more. Off course you will make them very happy if you talk like this but you also break their hearts when they find out that it was all just empty talk.

We girls who work like this get this empty talk a lot and it is difficult to know when or if someone is serious. How can we trust a guy that talks like this, even if he means every word he says and is very nice to us, when so many guys just talk talk talk. Sometimes I see or hear about some guy that gets his heart broken by a working girl. I feel sorry for these guys that are serious about some girl they like, especially if it is a nice guy. Sometimes maybe the girl does not know that he is serious because she is so used to the empty talk. Off course some girls like to play games but I think that most girls do not. I don’t want you to think all working girls are bad just because a few are.
