5 Helpful Tips to Getting Pregnant
Jan 7th
There are numerous couples out there who are very eager and ready to bear a child of their own. However, they seem to have run out of luck with such goal. There are no scientifically significant studies that the positioning and the timing of the coitus would matter and play a role in getting pregnant.
Bear in mind the ironic fact that the woman produces only one egg for an entire month cycle and the male produces millions of sperms as he ejaculates. But only one sperm gets to unite and survive the journey to bond with the egg.
However, these below are the few things you might want to consider if you are in need of help and advice to getting pregnant.
1.Eat Healthy. What you eat plays a major and vital role in the success rate of an individual and as a couple. Eating healthy would promote healthy and mature eggs (female) and healthy sperm (male). With this there is much higher percentage of the success rate for the egg and the sperm to unite.
Studies have shown that those individuals who have an unhealthy eating lifestyle, especially those that drink alcoholic drinks have abnormal sperms. They usually have two-headed sperm or sometime sperms that don’t have a tail. With this, there is certainly a decrease of success in reaching the egg. Women who also have an unhealthy eating lifestyle would likely alter the balance of their pH in their vagina making the sperm unable to reach the egg.
Hence, eating healthy will likely increase the chances of getting pregnant and producing a healthy baby as well.
2.Exercise Daily. With daily exercise it helps tone down and reduces cholesterol and fats in the body. This has been studied that women who are obese and who have apparently high BMI than normal have lesser chances to getting pregnant.
Daily exercise helps improve blood circulation. When there is increase and healthy blood circulating within the system, it provides distribution of the nutrients all over the body. It also helps keep the individual tone and healthy and not feel sluggish.
3.Avoid Stress. Stress not only increases the risk of cancer, but it can also alter the hormonal balance of the individual. When there is stress, there is sometimes an irregular delay of the woman of her menstruation, thus her fertile period. Sometimes, the egg produced would not be mature enough to unite with the sperm. If a woman is stressed and weary, there would be a decrease in the stimulation to unite with his husband. Hence, there is a decrease in the chance to have a baby.
4.Sleep Early. Sleeping early and having enough sleep helps energize the individual. When a person is energized he/she has the ability to stay fit and healthy and thus produce healthy eggs and sperm. When they do, they will have a higher chance of being successful in getting pregnant.
5.Enjoy and Know the Right Time. Bearing a child is not as easy as it seems especially if you and your husband has been trying to do it but seem to be unsuccessful. Relaxing and enjoying the moment usually helps. Think not of the goal that is to achieve a baby but instead think of it as a time of union between a husband and a wife in love. Knowing the right time helps as the woman has a period of fertility. This period is usually a marking point wherein the body actually helps to make the pregnancy successful.
If all these seem not to work, it would then be best to seek medical help as there may be a problem either toward the male or the female. Certain conditions such as low sperm count, abnormal sperms, and immature eggs may be the cause for the unsuccessful try to getting pregnant.
How to Cure Headache
Jan 7th
Headaches are a common problem. Many people experience headaches. The problem can be quite debilitating with the symptoms ranging from a few hours to days or even weeks. When the symptoms last for weeks, the pain may come and go or the person may suffer a low grade dull headache or throb all the time.
Headache is one of the most common pain complaints to suffer from. It can affect up to 45 million Americans. Tension-type and migraine headaches are the commonest types. Luckily, cluster headache is the rarest – it is an awful condition for the sufferer. More than 85% of headaches will respond to treatment if appropriate advice and treatment is sought so it is important to seek help from a physician in all cases of headache unless mild and self-limiting.
There are 130 classifications and identifications of different headaches. Research has not found any one cause for them. Some are caused by medical conditions, surgery or injuries, while others may be caused by some trigger such as lights, sounds, smells or maybe even stress related. Some of the types are;
* Migraine
* Tension
* Rebound
* Post-Traumatic
* Fever
* Cluster
* Sinus
Most people make the mistake of running for medicines AFTER they have a headache. Don’t make that mistake. Most headaches are easily preventable and there is no need to wait for a headache to appear in order to find the treatment. Why would you endure the pain of headache while you can easily prevent it? You can easily prevent headache by using the following home remedies:
Take two teaspoonfuls of honey every day. This will help prevent any headache attacks.
Apart from honey, natural apple cider vinegar too has been proven to preventive headaches. You can take equal amounts of natural apple cider vinegar and water and boil them in a pan well until smoke begins to rise. When the smokes are strong enough, lean your head over the pan and inhale the smoke for about fifty to eighty breathes.
Another great way to cure headache without pills is to drink cold water, the best is to drink one bottle per hour – which is 1 liter. You can also try drinking herbal products like mint, it actually helped a lot of people with their headaches.
One of the best natural headache treatments is to strive for a healthy lifestyle. This will cut down on the likelihood that tension headaches occur. This means eating a balanced diet heavy in fruits and vegetables. It also means cutting down on processed sugars and fatty foods. Regular exercise and sleep are excellent in relieving chronic headaches, as does avoiding tobacco, and reducing alcohol and caffeine usage.
Many people try acupuncture treatments to stop their head aches but they are nervous whenever they enter into the clinic. Perhaps they have never got to know about acupuncture earlier and are terrified how it is going to feel or if it is dangerous. The fact is, acupuncture is one of the least dangerous medical treatments that is in existence. Although it is possible for problems to occur, it is very uncommon and if the doctor is an expert and utilizes sterile means when inserting the needles there is little need for worry. The needles themselves rarely hurt whenever they enter into the skin and often make the individual feel either unwound or even rejuvenated.

Avoid toxic substances that can damage the liver and intestines
Such substances include analgesic drugs, anti-inflammatory drugs, psychiatric drugs, street drugs, alcohol and antibiotics. Also avoid as much as possible using chemicals such as pesticides, chlorine, bleach, insecticides, paints and solvents.
Drink at least two liters (4 pints) of purified or spring water daily
The human body requires irrigation and needs more3 water on a daily basis than most people realize. We evolved along the evolutionary track as water drinkers and, no colas, sodas, coffee and so on definitely won’t do, even though they contain water! Drinking plenty of water will, among other things, facilitate the flushing out and excretion of toxins through the kidneys and thus help reduce the burden placed on the liver.
Eat Broccoli
And the other “cruciferous” vegetables, such as cabbage, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, kale, radish and so forth. They contain important substances that enhance the liver’s detoxification processes. Broccoli has a particularly good effect.
Use cold pressed oils for cooking
Avoid hydrogenated oils. Your liver cells do not know how to handle the unnatural trans-fatty acids from these oils, so they can tend to accumulate there. People who ingest large amounts of food fried in hydrogenated oils tend to develop a fatty liver and raised cholesterol levels. Read the product labels and buy instead cold-pressed oils such as olive oil.
Exercise is vital, as always. Get some.
You don’t need to train for the Olympics or a launch into space. Keep it sensible but bodies like to be worked and, like cars, those that are parked for long periods tend to deteriorate – so keep the machinery turning over nicely.
Avoid coffee and other beverages high in caffeine
Caffeine can bring on increased secretion of stomach acids and thereby produce inflammation of the stomach and aggravate stomach ulcers. Caffeine also causes the valve between the esophagus and the stomach to relax, and this will then allow acidic contents from the stomach to get into the esophagus, which leads to heartburn and indigestion.
Switch to green tea as your habitual beverage (but NOT as a substitute for adequate water consumption) and there is a free book on green tea available from the website mentioned at the foot of this article.
Avoid Alcohol
If you can’t kick alcohol altogether (it is a highly addictive drug after all), confine your alcohol consumption to as modest an intake as you can and on no more than three days in any one week. This will give your liver time to eliminate the waste products of alcohol metabolism.
Wild blue-green algae is a good liver supplement that can help your liver to process any alcohol you inflict on it and it and plentiful water consumption can often reduce the horrible symptoms of a hangover. There is available a free ebook on the wild blue green algae that will tell you more about its general health benefits. You can obtain it from the website mentioned at the foot of this article.
Include in your diet PLENTY of raw vegetable and fruit
And as much as possible, make sure they are organic
Don’t ingest too much iron
You definitely can get too much of a good thing. The Hepatitis virus thrives in iron-rich environments so keep your body’s total iron content within normal limits. As to what those normal limits are, get advice from a qualified nutritionist. Meanwhile, avoid or keep to a minimum, vitamin and mineral pills containing iron, red meats, and cooking in iron pots.
Use natural anti-fat foods and condiments
Such foods naturally support liver health and include fresh ginger root, chili, radishes, cinnamon and turmeric. Turmeric in particular is extremely good the liver. Try taking 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric with some water each evening just before you go to bed.

Six Pack Secrets To Chiseled Abdominals By David Grisaffi
Jan 7th
There are six basic aspects of any abdominal workout routine you must master to obtain the six pack abs you have been chasing. You can do crunches until you toss your dinner and not meet your goal of a beautiful set of six pack abs. You have to use a comprehensive approach that addresses nutrition (diet), water intake, supplementation, exercises protocol, proper sleep rhythms, and the detoxification of your body. If you do all of these things you will acquire a six pack of abs and a nice set of obliques to frame around them.
Nutrition :
It does not mater what your workout goal is, you will never obtain a set of defined abs if you do not eat properly. I am not talking about just skipping the fast food crap. I mean carbs, protein, and the right time to load up on each. If you have extra weight to lose, you should be careful not to restrict your calories to much when working out.
Just restrict starchy carbs and useless calories like all sugars. If you restrict calories too much you will lose muscle and water, not the fat cells you want to shed. Eating a meal that contains complex carbohydrates like rice, pasta, bagels, fresh fruit, or baked potatoes about 30-60 minutes before your workout will provide a more sustained energy level and the carbohydrates that you need to keep your blood sugar level up. Also consume organic food whenever possible.
What you eat after your workout is just as important as what your have before. You are going to need the same types of carbohydrates, but you will need to add some protein for muscle repair and growth. I would suggest a recovery meal. The recovery meal serves two purposes: 1) It replaces lost carbs and influences the amount of cortisol (a hormone which reacts to stress) your body will release. 2) It loads up amino acids into your muscle to begin the re-building of muscle tissue. If you miss this window of opportunity you will not gain muscle and lose body fat as fast. If you want more information about recovery meals e-mail me at david@flattenyourabs.net
NOTE: Cortisol – Increases blood pressure, blood sugar and reduces immune responses.
All Mighty Water:
Hydration is an often overlooked aspect of all workout routines. If you do not consume enough water while working out or for that matter during your entire day you have wasted your time and may have caused damage to yourself. Not enough water equals dehydration. Drinking sugary/sports drinks, caffeinated beverages only dehydrate your body quicker. You should try to drink 7 to 10 ounces of room temperature water every 20 minutes while working out. Water helps to regulate your body temperature; deliver oxygen to your muscle tissues by keeping blood volume elevated. It also assists the kidneys in removing biological wastes, and enhances with fat burning and muscle growth. A good rule to follow is to drink ½ of your body weight in ounces per day.
Supplements:
If you are considering taking a supplement to put on a little more muscle, it’s important to take stock of your lifestyle before forking over a dime. If you’re not eating right, getting enough sleep, cutting back on stress and exercising regularly, meaning at least a couple of times a week, supplements are not going to do a whole lot for you. You cannot expect to slack elsewhere and have these pills or powders make it up for you. You have protein powder, creatine, glutamine, multi-vitamins, fish oils and amino acids to start with.Protein is the most recognized muscle building supplement in the world. It is available in whey, soy, casein, and egg.
Which is best for you?
Whey – I would stay away from soy and use hemp if you are a vegetarian. Use what is available to you. You will want to look at your goal for your protein first. Each of these four is absorbed at a different pace. Whey is great for a post-workout meal because it is absorbed within 30 minutes. Then comes egg and casein (milk) which are absorbed over a period of 1.5 to 7 hours. Either of these before bed will provide a great source of protein for muscle repair and growth while you sleep. Soy protein is an overall source, but due to the estrogenic proprieties of soy I would use hemp milk instead. Most serious bodybuilders/athletes will take a combination of all of these protein supplements for maximum benefit.
Creatine is a naturally occurring substance in your body. The basics behind creatine supplements are that they cause an increase in the amount of ATP (the main energy source for muscles) in your body.
More ATP means more reps and sets at higher weight. This means quicker muscle building. This supplement should be cycled though. It is best to take it for four weeks and then take two weeks off.
Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in muscle tissues. It helps to eliminate muscle wasting and improve your muscles recovery time. Amino acid supplements should always contain branched-chain amino acids to give you better results. Make sure that you do not take creatine and glutamine at the same time. They compete for receptors on muscle cells and will cancel each other out. Take glutamine pre-workout and creatine post-workout.
The reasons to take a multi-vitamin are obvious. A lack in any mineral or vitamin can really hamper your progress and limit muscle growth and retention. You really cannot neglect any of the supplements and expect top results. For more information about this e- mail me!
Exercises:
A full program of muscle development is obvious to get a set of abs. Simple routines that you will adhere to work the best. An overall program plus a good core workout that includes movements for the abs are all important in obtaining six pack abs. My program at flattenyourabs.net shows you over 40 abdominal exercises that will lead you to six pack abs and a set of well defined obliques to frame it. This program is tried and true.
Sleep and Body Detoxification:
You must get enough sleep, period. Your muscles grow and repair themselves during your sleep periods. Your energy stores and blood sugar levels restore themselves while you sleep. Depriving yourself of sufficient rest is the same as depriving yourself of muscle mass and definition. Why workout if you are not going to have enough recoverytime and end up wasting the effort. Detoxifying your body is important for the proper flow of nutrients to the muscles and the needed elimination of the by-products of muscle strain and growth.
Driving these toxins out of your body will help to increase blood flow to the muscles. Every bodybuilder knows the benefits of a better blood flow.
In addition to eliminating the obvious bad guys like caffeine, alcohol, and fatty foods, you need to lower your stress levels. Meditation and “quiet times” are very helpful for overall body harmony.
The quickest path to six pack abs is through this Six Must Do List that I have just walked you through. There is more information in my e-book “Firm and Flatten Your Abs” at http://www.flattenyourabs.net and you can always contact me directly. I would be happy to answer your questions or set up an appointment to customize a workout and health plan to suit your needs.
Live Kefir Grains Shipped From Germany

The H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu) is sweeping the world, you can’t turn on the news and not hear about it. They are rushing a vaccine through, and they don’t know if it is safe. The vaccine could cause more problems than the virus itself. There is one thing you can count on. the virus is going to mutate. There is one thing that we all need to do protect ourselves.
Measures we can take, and should take.
1. Practice good hygeine.
2. Support and build our immune systems.
Your body contains billions of bacteria and other microorganisms. The term “probiotics” refers to dietary supplements or foods that contain beneficial, or “good,” bacteria that are similar to those normally found in your body. Although you don’t need probiotics to be healthy, these microorganisms may provide some of the same health benefits that the bacteria already existing in your body do — such as assisting with digestion and helping protect against harmful bacteria.
In addition to supplements, probiotics can be found in such foods as yogurt, fermented and unfermented milk, miso, and some juices and soy drinks. Dannon’s Activia yogurt, for instance, is an example of a probiotic food. There is a growing public and scientific interest in probiotics. Researchers are studying whether probiotics taken as foods or supplements can help treat or prevent illness. There is encouraging evidence that probiotics may help:
Treat diarrhea, especially following treatment with certain antibiotics
Prevent and treat vaginal yeast infections and urinary tract infections
Treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
Reduce bladder cancer recurrence
Shorten the duration of intestinal infections ¦Prevent and treat inflammation following colon surgery (pouchitis)
Prevent eczema in children Probiotic bacteria are sold mainly in fermented foods, and dairy products play a predominant role as carriers of probiotics. These foods are well suited to promoting the positive health image of probiotics for several reasons.
1 Fermented foods, and dairy products in particular, already have a positive health image;
2 Consumers are familiar with the fact that fermented foods contain living organisms(bacteria);
3 probiotics used as starter organisms combine the positive images of fermentation and probiotic cultures.
When probiotics are added to fermented food, several factors must be considered that may influence the ability of the probiotics to survive in the product and become active when entering the consumers gastrointestinal tract. These factors include 1 physiological state of the probiotic organisms added. 2 the physical conditions of product storage. 3 the chemical composition of the product to which the probiotics are added.
4 possible interactions of the probiotics with the starter cultures Kefir) is a fermented milk drink that originated in the Caucasus region. It is prepared by inoculating cow, goat, or sheep’s milk with kefir grains. Kefir grains are a combination of bacteria and yeasts in a matrix of proteins, lipids, and sugars.
This symbiotic matrix forms grains that resemble cauliflower. Today, kefir is becoming increasingly popular due to new research into its health benefits. Many different bacteria and yeasts are found in the kefir grains, which are a complex and highly variable community of micro-organisms. Traditional kefir is fermented at ambient temperatures, generally overnight.
Fermentation of the lactose yields a sour, carbonated, slightly alcoholic beverage, with a consistency similar to thin yogurt. Kefir fermented by small-scale dairies early in the 20th century achieved alcohol levels between 1 and 2 percent, but kefir made commercially with modern methods of production has less than 1 percent alcohol, possibly due to reduced fermentation time. Variations that thrive in various other liquids exist.
They may vary markedly from kefir in both appearance and microbial composition. Water kefir (or kefir d’acqua) is grown in water with sugar (sometimes with added dry fruit such as figs, and lemon juice) for a day or more at room temperature. Making kefir 90 grams of kefir grainsProduction of traditional kefir requires kefir grains which are a gelatinous community of bacteria and yeasts. Kefir grains contain a water soluble polysaccharide known as kefiran that imparts a rope-like texture and feeling in one’s mouth. Kefir grains cannot be produced from scratch, but the grains grow during fermentation, and additional grains are produced. Kefir grains can be bought or donated by other growers.
Kefir grains appear white to yellow and are usually the size of a walnut, but may be as small as a grain of rice. Health and nutrition Kefir has antimutagenic and antioxidant properties, and can possibly be used to prevent mutagenic and oxidative damage in the human body One can change the nutrient content by simply fermenting for shorter or longer periods. Both stages have different health benefits. For instance, kefir over-ripened (which increases the sour taste) significantly increases folic acid content. Kefir also aids in lactose digestion as a catalyst, making it more suitable than other dairy products for those who are lactose intolerant.
The kefiran in kefir has been shown to suppress an increase in blood pressure and reduce serum cholesterol levels in rats. Drinking kefir While some drink kefir straight, many find it too sour on its own and prefer to add fruits, honey, maple syrup, vanilla, agave nectar, or other flavors or sweeteners. Frozen bananas, strawberries, blueberries or other fruits can be mixed with kefir in a blender to make a smoothie. In Poland, Kefir is sold with different varieties of fruit and flavors already added, both in the organic/ecologic and non-organic varieties. It is a breakfast, lunch and dinner drink popular across all areas of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland (second largest producer after Russia Norway, Sweden, Finland (especially Russian and Estonian minorities), Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania where it is known as an affordable health drink.
In Southern Slavic countries kefir is consumed anytime in the day. These live grains have been born and raised in fresh raw organic cow milk. They are healthy, happy and ready to give you the best source of probiotics in the world Love them and take care of them properly and they will last you a lifetime. Only a one-time investment. Comes with 1 Tablespoon, all you need to get started. In a couple months, your kefir grains will multiply so much, you’ll have to find a way to get rid of all the extra new cultured babies

Effective Home Remedies For Acidity
Jan 7th
Acidity means the unnecessary discharge of acid by the gastric glands of the stomach. Acidity is closely related to change in alpha-cellulose content and loss of power after aging. When excess acid leaks back up into the gullet this burn and irritate the lining of the esophagus and the feeling of heartburn is produced. The reasons for acidity are varied. However they often occur with other health problems like gallbladder problems, enzyme deficiencies, allergies, stress, and heartburn ulcers.

How Does Addiction Begin? (Part Two -of The Cycle of Addiction)
Jan 7th
Is a person genetically or bio-chemically predisposed to addiction or alcoholism?
Various postulates along such lines have been put forward over the years and debated within the scientific and chemical dependency communities. That this has produced no truly effective solution to drug addiction, VERY poor recovery rates and a WORSENING drugs epidemic tells us the aforementioned communities may have been barking up a very wrong tree.
Another school of thought and another wrong tree, advocates the “disease concept” of drug addiction, which postulates that addiction is an inherited disease and the individual is permanently ill at a genetic level.
In other words, “nothing can be done about it” because the problem is imprinted in the DNA – the classic psychiatric method of explaining away tax payers’ billions wasted on abject failure to effectively resolve…well, anything!
No conclusive proof for the “gene” theory of addiction has been produced incidentally, although the false datum has crept into the society. One will often hear addicts describing themselves as having an “addictive personality” – usually because that is what they have been told by a therapist who had no real answers. Think about the message hidden in that false datum: “there’s nothing you – or WE - can do about it because you are inherently flawed. You’re stuck with it pal!” This theory, while it “scientifically” explains away failures has yet produced no successul strategy or workable methodology for actually helping human beings beat drug addiction. If our goal is to do something effective to actually help people, then it has been useless.
Another philosophy argues that addiction is a double-stranded problem consisting of a physical and mental dependency on chemicals, compounded by a pre-existing mental illness that needs to be treated first as the primary cause of the addiction. Such a mental illness would be so-called clinical depression, bipolar disorder, or some other piece of elastically defined psychobabble.
As for psychiatry’s lack of diagnostic criteria or actual evidence for any of the “illnesses” listed its Diagnostic Manual and the quackery that accompanies its diagnosis and “treatment,” please don’t get me started…..I’ll cover psychiatry’s Great Diagnosis Con in a later article.
Suffice to say here, the “mental illnesses” purported without evidence to underlie drug addiction usually require drugs to treat them. The stupidity of using drug to cure an addiction to drugs should be obvious and needless to say that approach has produced – surprise, surprise – not just failure but a deepening drugs crisis!
Yet another philosophy subscribes to the idea that drug dependency leads to permanent “chemical imbalances” in the neurological system that must be treated with psychotropic medications after the person has withdrawn from their drug of choice. Again, a lovely way of milking the addict’s misery of every last drop of profit but only a partial truth.
Yes, extensive abuse of some drugs can cause permanent damage, but PSYCHOTROPIC MEDICATIONS ARE THE WORST OFFENDERS.
The degree of damage that would necessitate, say, tranquillisers to enable the person to function is rare and almost never resuts from abuse of street drugs. In my experience most addicts, although they have harmed themselves through the long-term imbibing of chemical poisons and asssociated malnutrition and so forth, can and do make a very good recovery with the right treatment, such as that provided on the Narconon program. And harmful psychiatric poisons are the very last thing they need.
None of the above, at best partial, truths have paved the way for an effective solution to the drugs problem.
There is another way of looking at the problem that DOES open the door to a much more effective handling of the problem.
The addict is NOT mentally ill, does not have a brain disease and is not genetically defective:
Addiction begins with pain.
I will cover this more fully in part three of this essay; “Addiction Begins With Pain”
