I’ve seen a few of these on here being asked and answered but I wanted to make a little bit more of a detailed question.
Recently I’ve quit using heroin and also alcohol. Throughout my life I’ve done pretty much any drug that was around… So I guess you could say I was a junkie.
What I wanna know is there any one that can tell me some good motivational songs for quitting drugs by newer bands. Like indie or screamo/emo type music. I like other songs too but I’d really like to find some songs that are either acoustic or include pianos, or if possible both! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems like getting wasted with pot would be healthier than getting wasted with alcohol, because it doesn’t harm your liver like excessive drinking does. I understand coke, heroin, etc. being illegal but pot doesn’t seem very harmful; just a different way to get stoned if you ask me. I don’t drink alcohol or smoke pot, but I think alcohol would be more harmful to your body. Is it? And if it is worse, then why is marijuana illegal and not alcohol as well? I’m not a junkie that sits around and whines about this kind of thing all day, I’m just curious.

Drinking alcohol to a certain extent is legal. Driving while drinking is most dangerous and is therefore illegal.
Neither is a good life style though…

I’m doing my health and social course work and need to know what the environmental effects are on akcohol and binge drinking…. any info would be awesome!

Some strong environmental factors for alcohol and binge drinking are: Stress from work, Stress from home life, unpaid bills, a recent breakup with a boyfriend or girlfriend, peer pressure, the after work drink that turn into every day drinking… just to name a few.

Hello,
I’d like to audition for a play and one of the characters is under the influence of drugs and then alcohol.
I need your help because I don’t know how to play a junkie or a drunkard, I have to be very convincing too.
The drugs are cannabis, then heroin and then LSD & meth.
The character also takes Whisky then Champagne & then Vodka. Thanks for your advice. Happy if my question makes you laugh :p but it’s actually a real question and I need a real answer!

Ok guys, i am going to try and explain my problem in as much detail as i can, i am a 22 year old male, im around 5’8 5’9 in height, and im seriously overweight, it all started when i was like a teenager, i got in to drinking, but my problem was deeper than all my friends, i became in my mind addicted to alcoholic, but not an alcoholic, meaning i dont physically need it i dont get with draw symptoms, but with my life style, and being unemployed for the past 5 years ive basically got nothing to do every day appart from drink and sit around my house hating myself, last time i weight myself was at a friends house on some shitty scales, and if i can remeber it said something like, ’16′ witch i think meant 16 stone, that was when i was 21, also yesterday i got a measuring take and put it at the lower end of my tummy, kinda hips..and it said 43, and then i did it around my beer belly, like bellybutton area, it said 44, and the top end of my thigh, witch was 25, so the few questions i need to know is, 1.am i obeese or just over weight? 2.whats the best and quickest way to loose this beer belly, and surrounding fat, bare in mind guys, i ‘cant just drop drinking’ i can possibly but it down but cant remove it from my life

go chop down some tree’s with a blunt axe. i.e turn your fat into muscle by moving your a*s around a bit.

and i have chosen to do alcohol abuse and alcoholism , but i just don’t know how and where to start my speech , how can i make it interesting and good not boring include facts and opinions etc in my speech help please. and i am AGAINST alcohol abuse and alcoholism any help would be great please

If you want to shock people, especially teens, start with something like ‘last year X amount of teenagers died as a result or in relation to alcohol’. Then you could throw in car crashes, date rapes, fist fights that result from alcohol, followed by liver disease, heart problems etc. Point out the homeless in the street and ask your audience how they think that tramp whth the cider bottle got there? Mention addiction, how alcohol ruins lives, destroys families. End it on a big plus on how people are starting to realise how serious drinking is and are becoming more responsible as a result. Hope that helps.

I heard a story of a girl that had a tapeworm and managed to kill it by getting drunk off of straight vodka. I couldn’t find any info about this anywhere on the net to find out if it was true or not.
