Question by G: Wife will not stop picking the skin on her face and arms.?
My wife picks the skin on her face all day long, some days she can have as many as 8 sore spots on her face (she covers them up with make-up). She says they are pimples, at first I thought she was right but after watching her for 3 yrs I know its not true. When I try to talk to her about it she says I should stop criticizing her and gets very defensive.
She also picks her forearms so much that she has actually developed a callus which looks like a corn and bleeds if she picks it too much. She treats all these “pimples” with acne creams every night, is it bad to put that on a wound and not a pimple. Trying to get her to stop is like trying to get a junkie off heroin. What should I do? Its getting so bad that I don’t like being in the same room with her. Its disgusting!

she has a bad habit like biting her nails when she does it,my sister does it too,and picks her pinky toe nail completey off ,she is 37yrs,her face is a mess it may be nervers too.
