Unless some of the other bodily organs have begun to dysfunction due to excess drinking, binge drinking should not have a direct affect on the heart. The organs that alcohol go for are the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and spleen. When these organs become damaged then there are increased chances of fluid backing up on the heart causing congestive heart failure.

I drink like once a month. Yet on Friday I drank to excess, like 12 beers, and I was not angry or anything when I was drunk, but yesterday I was in a fine mood. Now two days later I am in a seemingly intractable terribly angry mood. Does anyone else have any experience with this? Seriously I know it will pass but today I am very very angry and there is no reason to be. I went and ate a load of McDonald’s I am even being angry toward my body. I am smoking cigarettes in row and just had a fight with my brother.

if you’re a girl, it’s probably pms lol…when i binge drink i don’t feel the way you described…i would describe it as “loopy” and like i’m still drunk even when i’m not. its weird, and i don’t think its because you were drinking

it can make you fat. show a before and after poster. show a normal healthy person binge drinking and then show a something like a 6 month “after” picture of the same person but many times heavier doing it.

It doesn’t always happen, but over the last few years (i am 36) it has been happening. It hurts too much to even wipe some times.

Sounds like you have a hemorrhoid, that’s what happens when you get old. And possibly the alcohol flares the little bugger up. So, maybe cut back. Buy the soothing old people, uh, I mean hemoriodal wipes and cream.

I saw him drunk and one moment he was all over me and then he started talking to other women and flirting and then he got jumped by some hooligans and then he hurt himself trying to run away and then I stopped seeing him around, etc. Another man asked me out to a concert. Should I accept? I love my sweetheart but he is acting like a loser. I wish I could be his support and cheerleader but his drunk flirting feels humiliating.

If your liver hurts or you think its your liver get a ultrasound…i was having pain on my right side (i drank 5-6 times a week) and it turned out not to be my liver….thank you god.

It’s the weirdest thing, but since we’ve had these overseas visitors with their extreme thirst for wine stay with us for 3 months, I feel like parts of me are still hungover. It’s strange because these guys have been gone for two months now. Is it possible that, while the actual alcohol breaks down relatively quickly, other stuff in wine, beer and spirits takes weeks or even months?
If so, what is it, and how can I “purge” myself of it?

alcohol all comes out a the same rate.. your not hung over your problem is something else
