Question by lost and confused: I am writing a research paper over binge drinking and was told to narrow my topic down. anyone have any ideas?
I told my instructor that I wanted to do my research topic over binge drinking. He told me that my topic was too broad and that I need to narrow it down some. Any suggestions or ideas that I can possibly work with?
I forgot to mention that it was binge drinking in college students.. and i would like to tell him to shove it where the sun dont shine.

Try limiting it to weekend binge drinking.

Can’t seem to down any alcohol, what to do?

Question by spunkyrikku91: Can’t seem to down any alcohol, what to do?
Ok, before I start, I’m going to be honest and say this isn’t about me, but about my friend. I don’t judge and you shouldn’t either. If you can’t help and all you can do is tell me that I’m desperate or a liar, or whatever else, go away.
So my friend had a pretty bad drinking incident a year ago at a party. She downed a lot of whiskey alright but in the morning, was throwing up like crazy. After that, she hasn’t been able to even go NEAR alcohol (not even wine or beer), and I’m not advocating alcoholism or anything but she kind of misses being able to. She’s not crazy about alcohol, but it would be nice to be able to go to parties and enjoy a drink. She says that even smelling alcohol makes her stomach turn. It’s just an inconvenience when she’s at a party and she can’t even stick around because of the smell.
Is there some way she can cure this problem? I said she should slowly reintroduce it, but she said she wants a quicker answer to the problem.

maybe she should try to start taking it slow and maybe soon it`ll all come back to her.

Driving the Ball Accurately Down the Middle of the Fairway
Jan 5th
There are certain fundamentals to your setup routine that should always be in place if you want to be accurate off the tee. One of the most important tips to remember about driving the ball is that it is much better to be accurate than it is to hit the ball 300 yards. If you can do both well then good for you, but if you can’t then I recommend sacrificing a bit of distance for accuracy and you will see a significant change for the better in your scores.
To be more accurate I recommend that you do the following:
1) The ball should be placed on the inside of your left heel and your stance should be slightly wider than your shoulder width. This will give you a more stable base and help you to generate more power if needed.
2) Your feet, knees, hips and shoulders should all be positioned parallel to the target line to ensure that if all goes as planned the ball will go in the right direction.
3) Place the club behind the ball and ensure that it is parallel to the area of the fairway in which you intend the ball to land.
4) Get your body in a comfortable position by bending slightly at the knees and waist.
5) Your weight should be slightly on the front foot and your hands should be positioned slightly in front of the ball.
If all the above steps are adhered to, all that is left is to hit the ball in the intended direction.
Dry, Itchy, Flaky Skin Got You Down?
Jan 3rd
If you are like me, the winter season dries out my skin horribly. It’s not just my face that seems to dry out, my legs become dry and flaky and get really itchy. This unusually dry skin is a result of oil glands producing less oil due to the colder temperatures. Another factor is low humidity in the home and outdoors. There is no moisture available for your skin to absorb. These combined factors of less humidity and less oil production in the skin makes for dreadful dry, itchy skin.
It is not a problem figuring out what your skin needs – it needs moisture and extreme hydration to relieve the dryness and itchiness. The problem is finding a product that really hydrates and soothes the skin.
From my experience lotions loaded with fragrances seemed to do more harm than good. They actually made my legs itch more! I have tried Eucerin which worked for me as it does not contain fragrances which are known irritants for dry and/or sensitive skin and it seemed to lock in moisture. Additionally, I have tried various homemade treatments which have worked well and relived the dryness and itchiness on my legs.
Below are just a few of some natural ingredients that will relieve dry skin and they are easy on the environment too!
Almond oil, Olive oil or Vitamin E – oils have more staying power than lotions and really lock in the moisture. Apply to skin right out of the shower then pat dry.
Safflower oil – A reader had posted this recommendation on another dry skin article and said it worked really well for her.
For a superb moisturizing bath oil, add 5 drops of your favorite essential oil to 1 tablespoon of carrier oil such as almond or safflower. Shake bottle thoroughly. Working with essential oils you can easily customize your bath fragrance to suit your taste and moisturize at the same time. However, I feel that a note of caution is due here – when working with essential oils, know their properties as they are potent. For instance rosemary has stimulating effects and should not be used by pregnant women as an example. Be sure you understand the properties of essential oils.
Other ways to combat dry skin is to avoid hot showers, and if bathing do not stay in the tub to long as it strips away natural oils in the skin. If you are a bather then consider a milk bath or bath oils to moisturize the skin while bathing.
Consider a humidifier for your home. Don’t have a humidifier, then just place a few bowls of water by the heat registers.
