Some people have questioned how can I get drunk on 1 can, i didn’t say get drunk, I said feel drunk. Although I may not be drunk, I feel more relaxed!!

You’re only an alcoholic if you can’t stop drinking. If you have to drink a beer every night, then you’re probably an alcoholic. If you don’t have to drink every night, then you’re not an alcoholic.
ALCOHOLISM = Addicted to alcohol.

Alright, so about two weeks ago I bought a 6 pack for the weekend and killed it. Been doing it than every weekened since but I work two jobs and have very little time to relax and beer helps me do that. Is it alright If I dring 6 beers on the weekend or is that a road to alcoholism?

Oh 6 beers really isn’t very much for two nights, I think you need to worry re: alcoholism when you start your day off with your first vodka/aftershave. Really, relax and enjoy.

i dont feel sick when I drink. i just get instantly tired and feel no desire to continue drinking before ive even finished the first drink. i used to love drinking to the point it was almost a problem. after i started doing cocaine regularly i slowly became unable to do it. i’ve also been on antidepressants for almost a year but it didn’t become an issue untill very recently. i no longer do cocaine or other drugs regularly.

Good for you for stopping the cocaine.. and even better it cured you from a drinking problem. I would say don’t worry about it and just continue setting goals in your life to do better and stick with it. Make yourself happy by yourself and other the healthy way!

So I’m participating in this cook-off, and I’m wondering if there’s any non-alcoholic drinks out there that would complement chocolate cake? I would prefer recipes, and I have to make this there(hour and a half time limit) so it has to be something quick and easy, because I have to make the cake at the same time. Please, some help would be great!

Just a plain COLD glass of milk! That’s pretty standard with chocolate cake or cookies:) …. Although, a cup of coffee or espresso works well too

I binge drank 2 nights in a row with some friends but tonight I am just having 2-3 beers. I am just worried bc there has been alcoholism in my family and this week has definitely been a stronger week for drinking with me but how can I tell if I am an alcoholic or just drinking bc that’s what I have done with others?

You already know the answer and you don’t want a lecture i’d go by history and see how others that don’t drink as you do are doing as compaired to your track record in life be honest or you’ll hurt yourself others and it won’t get better.
Try not having one drink cold turkey for 2 months?

My girlfriend says when my friends come over that I binge drink with them. But we all have like 6 – 8 each beers in a 3 hour period. I’m pretty sure this is not binge drinking. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Ok, on some weekends I like to unwind and I have a drink. It is usually a mixed drink with rum. I use a good bit of rum, but not too much. It is not overwelming, but I feel it after the drink. It is never bad enough to pass out or anything. Would that be considered binge drinking?

So I’m doing a heritage report and if we bring a food that is part of our heritage (ex. your irish you bring corned beef, like that) it will give us extra points. everyone is bringing something sweet and dessert like so I thought it would be fun to bring a drink. the recipe for the drink needs to serve about 30 people(i think actually 27 but im sure my family will want to try some.) and it doesn’t need to be a great big cup of something for anyone just like a little plastic or dixi cup. also if you can’t find a drink that serves about 30 just give me what you have and i can convert the amount later. thanks!
