Q&A: Is smoking pot better for your body than drinking alcohol?

heroin junkie

Question by Vic Romano: Is smoking pot better for your body than drinking alcohol?
It seems like getting wasted with pot would be healthier than getting wasted with alcohol, because it doesn’t harm your liver like excessive drinking does. I understand coke, heroin, etc. being illegal but pot doesn’t seem very harmful; just a different way to get stoned if you ask me. I don’t drink alcohol or smoke pot, but I think alcohol would be more harmful to your body. Is it? And if it is worse, then why is marijuana illegal and not alcohol as well? I’m not a junkie that sits around and whines about this kind of thing all day, I’m just curious.

Best answer:

Answer by No!
Drinking alcohol to a certain extent is legal. Driving while drinking is most dangerous and is therefore illegal.

Neither is a good life style though…

Question by i like cereal: Did Miller Lite create the vortex bottles to advocate the use of binge drinking?
Plus, there’s a lot of evidence that sub-par beer companies like Miller and Anheuser-Busch will target the underage drinker crowd so the move isn’t really a surprise since the majority if bingers are underage or new drinkers.

you shouldnt be binge drinking as it will only do the liver damage, and your body could shut down if you do this all the time, you would be better sticking to having no more than 2-3 drinks a day as supposed to drinking loads at the weekend.

What is the best way to get through to an alcoholic who’s on a major drinking binge?

Question by \❤/вroĸen wнole\❤/: What is the best way to get through to an alcoholic who’s on a major drinking binge?
My fiance has been an alcoholic for years. Lately it has gotten even more out of control. For the past few days, he has been drinking literally non-stop. When he drinks, he gets furious with me, irrational, paranoid, and completely out of control.

What is the best thing I can do to help him realize how serious his drinking is and snap him out of this?
His dad is an alcoholic, too, so family won’t help.

Obviously there a lot of different ways this question could be answered but I was just hoping to get some thoughts on the topic, I don’t know if there is actually one specific correct answer or if its more of a grey area.

Its very hard to say because all of them cause horrible over time health. But I would say Weed to be in specific.
It also kinda sounds like your binge drinking and smoking weed if so I would recommend you lay off of one of them.

How is teenage binge drinking being represented in the media?

Question by : How is teenage binge drinking being represented in the media?

Best answer:

Answer by Made_in_America
Unfortunately, the news media is sensationalistic and will cover something like this in detail only if there is a death. You will occasionally see a story about it only when the news media has ‘down time’ with nothing else to report.
