Towards the end of the program the documentary maker foolishly decides to take the drug himself in order to have some idea of how addition truly feels. Unfortunately he too becomes and addict ….
I have tried to locate this program online but as of yet had no luck in finding it?
The documentary maker was a black man who lived and worked in London, the program was aired originally of British TV which I believe to be Channel 4.
Can somebody please help me in finding this?

I started out snorting powder, like maybe once a week, and after a few months I was shooting up. Now it’s been a few more months and I’m currently using every day.
I’m out of money and I’m having to ask my friends and family for money just to buy smack.
I feel pathetic and I don’t have a job and I just sit around all day high.
I use clean gear every time so I don’t have AIDS or anything cause I also use alone and only alone.
Anyways, how can I get off this **** and get my life back together?
I know if I start getting terrible withdrawals I’ll just go shoot up to make the pain go away. Is there anyway to make it easier? Should I go to a hospital or something?
My family already thinks I’m just a selfish junkie, who just uses them for money, but the truth is I love them but my body like compels me to beg for cash. I’m still the same person, I just need to get off this stuff to get back to normal.
Any suggestions? I really need to know what to do. Thank you so much.

Good for you for admitting you have a problem. My only advice to you would be to cheak yourself into treatment. The professionals will help you with your withdrawls, and then you will be on the road to recovery!! Good Luck!

there is no way to avoid withdrawl. the best way to make it through is rehab. you have to go to a rehab center. you could die from the withdrawl without the help of a center.
please do it. please. you dont know who you would affect by doing it. if i had a chance to go back and tell my mother this i would. sadly i was too young to know what she was doing. please go get help. plese.

I know that sterilization is not very high on heroin or cocain users lists of things to don. When people use steroids they are much more cuation when doing IM injections. I have seen drug users just reuse the same needle and never use wipes for the area. Yes, I lost a few friends that did that. I never have used that but I do go on cycles. With steroids you are always making sure everything is sterile so you don’t let anything else in your body except what you want. This makes me wonder how junkies keep from getting infected if they reuse syringes and are not sterile?

I just don’t know whether or not to take it to the next level?
my dad passed away a year ago.. and my mum didnt take to it well obviously.. i want the pain of missing him to go away!

i 18 and i have bipolar and schizoaffective disorder and i just want to escape my life 99% of the time. i really am just not happy at all, i’m way too sensitive and insecure and i’m overweight by 32 pounds. i just don’t have motivation or will to lose it, i guess. it makes me feel dumb. i’m not happy with much in my life at all.
honestly, i’m afraid that i will become a junkie, but i don’t think that will stop me. i just want to be truly happy, but that hasn’t happened all my life. i can’t seem to fully escape my past. i really want to die, but i know that my mother and sister need me to be alive. so i think that doing drungs is better than being dead. i know you guys think i’m stupid, but what i’m telling you is nothing but the truth.

I think you should consider legal drugs instead of illegal drugs in your case. I guarantee you will be a lot healthier for it and be feeling better. legal drugs can help you in the long run and illegal drugs will only kill you in the end.
