Chuck Negron: lead singer/founder of Three Dog Night whose son was also named Chuck who was a junkie? How sad. Both parents were addicts & he was born addicted to heroin, correct? Did any see this episode?

clearly a junkie and a bastard… chose heroin over his beautiful son. truly a bastard of a person… ended up in jail and he deserves nothing for failing his offspring like that.

I want to know how this works, since my friend has been considering doing this for another friend. I was too shy to ask her what it meant. Help please.

When someone who is dear to you happens to be an alcoholic, you will most likely try to talk to her and persuade her to undergo treatment, right? Well, if you can’t get the person to agree to your wishes, that’s what alcoholism intervention is for. You seek the help of professionals, called intervention specialists, and they will facilitate a group meeting of friends, family members, and even the employers of the patient, to convince her to stop her intake of alcohol and undergo treatment.

I need answers quickly. Please don’t tell me to leave. I am committed to helping him and his children. I need to know what kind of “demands” I need to put on him. We are having a family “Pow Wow” tonight. This IS the last straw. I’m not leaving yet, so please don’t post that. Tonight is going to be an “Intervention”. If it doesn’t work, I’m gone. But, I’m giving it this one last shot.
He drinks whiskey, he gets verbally abusive, emotionally abusive, and for the 1st time Monday night physically abusive. He is a fantastic man when he doesn’t drink. But Lord help us when he does! He always tries to kick me and the boys out…
He’s the only one right everyone else is wrong. He’s broken doors, knocked holes in the walls…
I need exact IN YOUR FACE answers (ultimatiums) whatever you want to call it…
