I feel bad because I am a human being, and I don’t like to see people in such a manner…
BUT…there is a big hairy but…

I understand they are addicted and its hard to quit. But here is my logic….

Why would you start in the first place when you know what the consequences will be. I dont do Heroin because I know what can happen, I dont want aids, I dont want to be junkie etc.

Same goes for the rest of the hard drugs out there..I have seen what Crack can do, or how LSD can make people go crazy.

My father asked me when I was younger, What is the definition smart…He said learning off other peoples mistakes…Makes no sense to learn it the hard way when you dont have to.

Even when we don’t want to, there are lusts of the flesh ( they are diff for everyone) that are just so innate in us that without God’s grace in our lives, we are overpowered by them. If you’re not saved you’re a slave to Satan, so even if u want out, you’re weak for you don’t have God’s Holy Spirit to overcome your sin. “for greater is He that is in you that he who is against you”

What about Heroin? If drugs are legalized then we could revive the economy.
I’m tired of going to crack houses for once I would like to get heroin in my own home.

What should we do about the individuals that find no comfort in rehab, but continue to roam the streets with needles hanging from their arms?

In Oslo, we have a serious heroin problem, where junkies are lining up around the block hoping to start the methadon-treatment. However, the line is much longer than the social services systems can handle. So what do we do? Too many junkies, not enough nurses.

It should be pointed out that the seriousness of this problem shouldnt be trivialised, as certain areas downtown are litterally clogged up with buyers and sellers of heroin and other assorted treats. There are sections of our main street where you cannot get through without litterally rubbing shoulders with people who openly buy and sell hard drugs. The Police claim they are short on resources, the local authorities are clueless.

A friend of mine, a fairly good one, has invited me to her daughter’s baby shower. The daughter is a heroin addict who constantly lies about her drug use, and the “help” she is getting for it. The daughter can’t take care of her cat, or herself. I see the baby being taken away by Child Protective services quickly. This girl is on a chemical heroin substitute, and has smoked frequently throughout her pregnancy. I don’t even really know her that well, but I want no part of this. It disgusts me. The father, she met in January in a shelter. They married two months later. He’s a former LA gang member. They fight a lot, the cops have been involved with ALL of them, and he’s even cheated on her. I don’t know why I was invited, as opposed to Jerry Springer. How can I get out of it without hurting my friend’s feelings? She’s somewhat resigned to the situation, but I don’t agree with her in acting if this is something good. It’s not. That kid is doomed.

Well, if you don’t want to go and don’t want to hurt your friends feelings, just say you got called into work or something came up and you can’t make it.

I am an heroin addict and its never got in my way of school, work, and family. Anyone who would like to share their experiences please drop some knowledge. I am a hard working individual and I don’t believe in the stigmas media and government create.

A lot of famous people have had addictions – http://www.drugalcohol-rehab.com/famous-addicts.htm – all of them have jobs, homes, families.

But they are STILL addicts and that in itself is the problem. You DO have a problem if you cannot go without your addiction. There are a million more positives things you could be doing with your time and money than using heroin.

I’ve recently moved out of my massive semi detached house in this lovely rich leafy suburb/area of Manchester because I couldn’t afford to live there and I have traded it with a house in Birmingham as Birmingham was a lot lot cheaper got to Birmingham/Brum and the house is some terraced house, a inner city street of rows of terraced houses boarded up litter on street ethnic black/asians gangs of youths hanging on streets and drug dealing going on in the park at the back of my house so many needles and syringes scattered around there on a daily and weekly basis and I have to go there to catch the bus to go to work in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham and I cant afford to move but I hate it here seriously is there any other places I can live anyone able to give me some help and infomation thank you.
