Learn Street Fighting Moves & Tactics Easily!
Jan 3rd
I would like to share some self defense tactics that I know work. Over the years as a bouncer, fighting for my life behind prison bars I’ve come to some conclusions that every martial arts student should incorporate into their street fight training & martial arts studies.
Street fighting moves & tactics #1 – When you can bite by all means do it. If his hand is around your face and you can bite his fingers, or in other situations, his face, arms, groin, elbow, kidneys, legs, lips, eyes, ears or eyebrows you will find that clinch fighting got even deadlier when you apply street fight techniques.
Street fighting moves & tactics #2 – When using kicks, kick in the shin, groin and kneecaps only. If you manage to throw a side-kick in a street fight, and the bad guy catches it, you better know how to get up off the ground fast. So don’t lose your balance, keep the kicks low and for keeping your attacker further away from you.
Street fighting moves & tactics #3 – You need to practice unrehearsed self defense training techniques. You want to practice in a park or wherever being tossed around and practicing your techniques making the attack scenarios and response as natural and real as possible.
Street fighting moves & tactics #4 – The eye gouge is more powerful and devastating then a punch. If you are in range stab your attackers eye sockets and then follow through with punches. Making your attacker unable to see properly and putting him in pain will lower his moral to defeat you.
Realize that these street fight techniques and martial arts moves can greatly increase your chances of surviving a street based attack!
Make sure you do regular exercise and practice sparring with friends. Also remember that any martial arts training you can do, is better then none, so do it often!

My recommendation is that a combination of learning street based self defense with martial arts styles that originate in different societies and countries could really make your fighting techniques unique. Irregardless of what body shape you have, these combat techniques could improve your overall muscular capacity and endurance so that you are able to fight back when you are attacked. This is just one advantage of learning street based martial arts!
Many people are curious to know whether or not the black belt teachings on self defense and martial arts today are really going to prepare you for the moment that calls on you to defend your life. You must understand that the purpose of the martial arts you are being taught are to defend you from an attack; you are going to be in big trouble if you are only learning rehearsed drills or theories without any actual combating.
You must have a good grasp on battling psychological factors like stress or fear, as well as the pain you feel from a blow. Stress levels can be elevated immensely during a street fight, although having the ability to carry out the set drills and using tools to learn street based self defense for different attacks while keeping your composure is crucial. You will need to learn about pressure points, dirty fighting and street fighting for a street based style of combat in martial arts.
From my own personal experience, I would suggest combining various street based martial arts to create your own unique combat system that fits your level of skill, speed range, timing, instincts, your figure, body size and skills learned through training.
In a life or death situation, you will want to employ an intense offensive by acting as the aggressor during an attack. Always remember to block blows and defend yourself, but also concentrate on striking your opponent as hard and as fiercely as you possibly can. You should do some research on different street based martial arts forms that consist of various self defense techniques. Take in and memorize all of these different methods so that you can utilize them in your own personal arsenal for street based martial arts fighting!
In order to ensure that things go smoother for you, take the most effective methods there are from all the different styles by enrolling yourself in a special course, watching videos online, reading martial arts books and by involving yourself in some concrete physical work. Don’t forget that there are no real Hollywood style techniques that actually work during a street battle!
Learn How to Win a Street Fight Easily!

If you ever find yourself in a self defense scenario, there are 4 things you can do. You can’t do better than these when if you want to learn how to win a street fight.
Do you know what the difference is between street fighting and self defense? In self defense you is a method of performing a move that will allow you to get away from danger. Street fighting is a method of performing moves in a way to immobilize the bad guy.
Learn how to win a street fight #1 – If you are attacked by a person brandishing a weapon, do what he/she says. It would be senseless to try to disarm him/her when you can simply give him/her the $20 you have in your pocket. What would be the point of fighting a guy with a knife and taking the chance of getting stabbed?
Learn how to win a street fight #2 – The fights you watch on television an din movies are not real. I have witnessed a man trying to disarm another man, who had a knife, using a flying sidekick. I, personally, cornered the bad guy when the “flying side kick guy” almost died. He suffered a severe stab to the leg.
Learn how to win a street fight #3 – It isn’t as bad as you might imagine to take and deflect blows. If you never get used to being hit, you will never be able to face and overcome your fear of being hit. You also need to know how and when to give back a series of blows that will cause pain and punishment, as well as, put your attacker on the ground.
Learn how to win a street fight #4 – Remember, even though mixed martial arts tournaments like the UFC have rules, on the streets there are no fighting rules. In other words, if you think you can avoid any further pain and/or torture by kicking your attacker in the groin and ripping his eyes out, then by all means do it!
Remember that using any street fighting techniques to win against an attacker then use it. It doesn’t matter how big or small you are. All that matters is how well prepared for fighting you can be.
Start using the tips in this article and start practicing with sparring and exercise regularly to be prepared for any attacks!
