Can a night of binge drinking cause High heart rate the next day?

Question by April O: Can a night of binge drinking cause High heart rate the next day?

you shouldnt be binge drinking as it will only do the liver damage, and your body could shut down if you do this all the time, you would be better sticking to having no more than 2-3 drinks a day as supposed to drinking loads at the weekend.

Question by BreemoOasisGarden: Rate this new battle rap of mine?
Boy im hot fire, you wet trash
Im a fire that could blaze this whole Milky Way
Destroy all civilization and matter in its path
My rhymes are over your head, supernatural divine protection stands over mine
You couldnt make punchlines doin coke with Mike Tyson, for you now its the end of the line
You are history, wait, scratch that, to be history you had to do somethin
You got Freddie Mercury blood, Easy- E gene pool
Flooded in your veins, you got Chaz Bono DNA
If the blood drive hooked you up after just a minute they would run out and scream look its the reincarnation of King James
So understand you stand under me, you and hip-hop dont mix
Like George Strait saggin his pants with a red bandanna paintin with his own blood on his guitar
Gettin ready to cover Bob Marley tunes before he sings Amazing Grace accapella in a heroin spot for junkies, dressed like Kanye at the fashion shows

There is no cure for alcoholism. People learn how to abstain and manage the addiction if they really want help. The best place in the world can’t help someone who does not really want it.

I’ve recently been prescribed suboxone for my addiction to heroin. I’m just wondering about the success rate.?

Question by Em ha: I’ve recently been prescribed suboxone for my addiction to heroin. I’m just wondering about the success rate.?
This drug is new to me. I haven’t heard much about it. The only things that I do know about it are the things I have read on the internet. I am willing to give it a chance. I’ve been on methadone program before and it worked. It just became too expensive. I was able to get off methadone and kept clean for 4 months. Unfortunately, I recently relapsed. My new doctor only prescribes suboxone for heroin addicts. This is my second week on my medication, and isn’t working the same way methadone did for me. My cravings are unbelievable. I’m an emotional wreck and highly irritable. I know my second week on methadone was completely different. My cravings had subdued and I wasn’t as emotional. I feel helpless at the moment. There aren’t any methadone clinics in my area accepting new patients at this time, and my doctor only prescribes suboxone for heroin addicts. I am trying to stay as positive as possible, and remind myself that I am doing the right thing. But each day seems to get harder. I just wanted to know if anyone else has been through the same thing. For example, anyone else who had a hard time while taking suboxone. Are these cravings and waves of emotions going to subside or is this medication not working for me? I’m not trying to give up on suboxone, but I know this isn’t how I felt when I was on the methadone program. I have read that suboxone is highly recommended and people say it is easier to get off of when compared to methadone. BUT I don’t want to get off of it. I realize that I have an opiate dependency. I want to repair that part of my brain. And methadone was working. I wish I would have stayed on it, but I couldn’t afford it at the time. And when I stopped taking methadone, I was able to deal with the detox by weening myself off of it slowly. With this said, does anyone knows how to find a private doctor who will prescribe methadone. I know that works and I am willing to stay on the program this time no matter the amount of money. The last thing I want to do is continue to be a junkie. I have accepted that I will always be an addict, but I would like to be a recovering one from now on. Any suggestions? Advice?

Why does Egypt have such a low drug addiction rate compared to the USA?

Question by Farooq: Why does Egypt have such a low drug addiction rate compared to the USA?

They don’t. Their addictions are under-reported due to a lack of services and widespread intimidation directed against drug addicts.

So, you have just found out that a close friend is a heroin addict. It may come as quite a shock. It may also explain a lot of unusual observations over a long period.

It is best for relatives and others who are close to the addict not to offer advice, however tempting it may be. In our effort to understand, it is best to offer support and sympathy, even when these do not come readily. If circumstances are such that this is not possible at the time, it is best to be frank about one’s feelings, but still to leave the way open for future reconciliation.

Do not worsen the situation by giving money which could be used for drugs. If possible, offer assistance with transport, bills or arrangements which are documented to be for treatment purposes, and always pay by non-negotiable cheque or credit card authority.

Do not be enticed into debates about whether abstinence is the best philosophy. Each type of treatment is ‘correct’ for the right person at the right time. Equally unrewarding are arguments about why someone originally used drugs or what made them relapse on this occasion.

So, just help your friend as much as you now how. She needs you now. Don’t condem her, don’t mock her, don’t talk about all the wrong she might have done. She does not want to hear that. Just be her friend. She may not want to talk at all, she will not be in a good mood.
Just ride it out with her. That is a ride that you will never forget, trust me.

Take care as always

Higher Gas Price, Lower Car Insurance Rate

A lot of people complain about the increase in the price of gas. But do you know that there is also an advantage to this gas price hike? Higher gas price can actually lower the cost of car insurance.

What is the implication of gas price hike? Because the price of gas is increasing almost regularly, people are looking into alternatives to driving. Why pay for such a high gas price when you can just catch the train and save money?

Public transportation is becoming a more practical option than driving. You can save a lot if you just make use of public transportation. For instance, you will pay only five dollars for a return fare on a train while you will pay more for the gas if you will drive.

Higher Gas Price, Lesser Driving

With the present economic situation of the world, people are doing everything to save on money. If you can save more money catching public transportation, then why still drive? The increase in the price of gas has led to lesser number of people who would want to drive. People are driving less now.

More and more people are driving less because they don’t want to spend too much on gas. They can still go where they want to go without spending too much money on gas.

Car Insurance And Less Driving

The increase in the price of gas may be a downside to a lot of people but there is one good thing that can come up with it. If the price of the gas will continue to rise, more and more people will stop driving. There will be lesser risk on the road; therefore, car insurance rates can be pretty low. Insurance companies will be happier to lower down their insurance rates because there is a lower chance for early claims.

Less driving means less injury. It is not hard to avoid car accidents if there is only a few motorists on the road. This means that the car insurance company will not have to deal with injury payments. There is a lower chance that their clients will be claiming for injury payments.

Higher gas price will help you save money on car insurance rates. There is always at least one good side to everything. With the gas price hike, you can still take advantage of the situation by grabbing a lower car insurance rate.

Who Has The Highest Rate Of Teen And Drug Abuse In The World?

The United States has the highest rate of teen and young adult drug abuse in the world.

Why does America have the highest rate of teen and drug abuse in the world?

I think America has the highest rate of teen and drug abuse in the World, because from all the media and what people say and act and how they express their feelings. I also feel that teens don’t have their parents at home nowadays, and when they have problems they feel that drugs are the way out. My mom told me when she was in college, and working in the restaurant, the teens would all talk about all the different drugs out there, and which ones were better. They all would ask my mom to do drugs, and that it was cool, but she was always proud to say she is “drug-free”. Teens like everyone else need attention, and when they don’t get that at home, they get it from drugs.

What 4 things  would you tell parents to do to help their teens not get involved with drugs?

  •        Learn about drugs.
  •        Discuss it with your teens.
  •        Read about it with your teens.
  •        Have your teens meet kids who are addicted, so they can see that this is not a good way to go.
