Reason being is I drink way too much. I was planning on quitting, tonight being the first night. I’ve been noticing symptoms like getting the “shakes” and what-not, so I’m just looking to see if I could get any help today, and not have to wait a week to get in to a real doctor. Any and all help would be appreciated!

I have one simple answer candy and a tooth brush, mostly the reason that people are addicted to alchol is because of the sugar.

I started out snorting powder, like maybe once a week, and after a few months I was shooting up. Now it’s been a few more months and I’m currently using every day.
I’m out of money and I’m having to ask my friends and family for money just to buy smack.
I feel pathetic and I don’t have a job and I just sit around all day high.
I use clean gear every time so I don’t have AIDS or anything cause I also use alone and only alone.
Anyways, how can I get off this **** and get my life back together?
I know if I start getting terrible withdrawals I’ll just go shoot up to make the pain go away. Is there anyway to make it easier? Should I go to a hospital or something?
My family already thinks I’m just a selfish junkie, who just uses them for money, but the truth is I love them but my body like compels me to beg for cash. I’m still the same person, I just need to get off this stuff to get back to normal.
Any suggestions? I really need to know what to do. Thank you so much.

Good for you for admitting you have a problem. My only advice to you would be to cheak yourself into treatment. The professionals will help you with your withdrawls, and then you will be on the road to recovery!! Good Luck!

there is no way to avoid withdrawl. the best way to make it through is rehab. you have to go to a rehab center. you could die from the withdrawl without the help of a center.
please do it. please. you dont know who you would affect by doing it. if i had a chance to go back and tell my mother this i would. sadly i was too young to know what she was doing. please go get help. plese.

I am 18 and have been using heroin off and on since I was 14.
Anyway, my girlfriend of 3 years just dumped me out of the blue for another guy who is wealthier and more attractive and all around superior to me in every way.
This girl and I lost our virginity to each other at age 15 and she is my everything. We said we’d get married have two daughters a nice house the whole nine yards american dream. We complete each other.
Every since the day I saw her in the hall at school when we made eye contact for the first time to the first time we had sex and after the sex was over we just laid in each others arms awake all night in a euphoric memorized blissful state. It was the best night of our lives.
Now, after all the time, money, love, and emotions I have invested in her I’m getting hit like Wall Street on Black Tuesday.
I have been slamming heroin off and on for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been through some pretty shitty withdrawals, but this absolutely takes the cake. I’ve never been suicidal before when detoxing from H but losing this girl makes me want to kill myself. The depression is absolutely unbearable. I have no self-confidence anymore and nothing matters at all. I feel worthless and I want to die.
I think I’m going to go back to the needle and use again to get that euphoric rush that I can no longer have naturally, which will replace the unbearable pain with pure pleasure.
I don’t want to be addicted again though, I don’t know what to do.
That girl was like a drug to me, and the withdrawal was hell. And the worse part is I can’t control her. If I want her back, I can’t have her. At least with heroin, I am in control and if I decide I want it back in my life, I can have it.
Help me. I don’t know what to do. I’m a depressed junkie either way, with this girl or drugs, doesn’t matter.

does anyone notice that heroin withdrawal symptoms r worse at night? also does anyone know any ways to help me feel better besides using methadone and stuff, like natural things that will help flush my system quicker so i won’t be in so much pain? im crawling out of my skin!!! and i know, i know…im not the first, its my fault, i need help and there may be nothing that can help…but…i’d really appreciate it if anyone who has gone thru withdrawal had any advice for me? thanks

LOTS of water. And it would help , especially in the first few days if you had something to help you sleep. Try some tylenol PM or some benadryl. Oh , and get some OTC nausea medicine… you may need it, many do.

Natural/ Homeopathic remedies (vitamins/minerals/herbs etc.) that eliminate toxins from the body quicker and/or easier.
I’ve done research have learned some things are: water, vitamins A&C, liver cleansers, fibers, and a few others. Is there anything that is essential or used for withdrawal / detoxification?

none, the only way you could possibly speed up detox, and removing all the H from your liver and cells, is to drink LOT’S of water, maybe add a dash of vinegar to it. go to your local “head” shop, they sell products. good luck!
